Everyday Tips for Meditating
If you are interested about meditation, some tips and tricks will help you start meditation practice.
Start slow. Start short sessions of around 5 to 10 minutes a day, then increase time & work your way up progressively to longer sessions.
Set a schedule Time. Try meditating at the same time every day—for a few minutes first thing in the morning, for example.
Get comfortable. Sitting cross-legged on the floor is one of the option but comfort is the key for meditation. You need to be in a comfortable position, where you can sit for several minutes without getting uncomfortable or restless.
Focus on what you're feeling. Breathe naturally and observe the feelings and sensations you experience as you breathe in and out. FOCUS ON BREATHE.
Don't try to suppress feelings.Your mind is wander as you meditate—and distress your thoughts. Just observe & let them go. Come back to breathe again. This part is hard. Just matter of practice.
